Good day lovelies! I was sorting through our stash the other day when I found some empty perfume bottles. Mom loves collecting perfume and even saves each and every bottle we use. I had these Davidoff Cool Water bottles from way back high school and I am so glad I found them. These bottles definitely bring back memories. I thought these bottles would be great vases, so I went ahead and cleaned the four same-sized empty bottles. I removed the cap and the sprayer using pliers and stainless steel cuticle pusher. I washed and dried each bottle. I also made a "picket fence" to house my vases.
For this DIY, we will need the following materials:
Faux flowers of your choice. (Make sure they match the perfume bottles.)
Some Popsicle sticks
A pair of scissors
Glue gun + glue stick
Empty perfume bottles
After removing the bottle cap and sprayer and cleaning the empty perfume bottles, I then got 10 pieces of Popsicle sticks then cut them in half. We now got 20 pieces of small Popsicle sticks that would serve as our "fence."
I set those aside then made the base. I basically made a square that would fit the four perfume bottles and glue everything in place. I had 8 horizontal Popsicle sticks attached to two vertical sticks for this base.
I then got my small Popsicle sticks then glued five of them to two full-size Popsicle sticks. I spaced them out evenly so they would look like fences. I attached each side to the base using glue. I braced the fence to make it sturdier by placing Popsicle sticks inside the tray.
I then placed my perfume bottles and faux tulips to complete the project. I placed it above our small book shelf. I really love how it turned out. I was thinking of painting the tray white but then it already matches our picture frame and our small windmill display, so I did not paint it. Here's how it looked like after :)
