Hello friends! I'm just sharing a simple tip today. Have you ever experienced yellow nails? Especially when you've just removed your nail polish, I do, and I hate them. It makes my nails look dirty even when it's not, but I just love red nails so much I could not give them up. I always wear them almost all the time, but the problem with polish, especially dark polishes like my bloody red favorite, is it makes your nails yellow and unhealthy looking when you remove it. I found that even the nicest brand of nail polish remover cannot remove yellow stains, even if I rub it over and over again, it just does not come off. But, no problem! Here's a simple and cheap solution for you. The things you will need are probably in your bathroom already. Let's get started!
You will need just two things:
1. A nail brush or an old toothbrush
2. Your regular toothpaste
That's it, that simple :)
Okay, here's what we need to do. Get your brush and put some toothpaste on it. You can use any kid of toothpaste, gel or regular white or even whitening toothpaste. Just put a small amount on the brush. Toothpaste, which obviously we use for cleaning our teeth, can do the same for our nails, make it clean and whiten, especially if you are using the whitening variant.
Next, remove your nail polish if you do have them. Yellow nails? No, problem. Wet your nails with water and apply the toothpaste on your nails using the brush. The toothpaste will remove the yellow stains from the nail polish.
Brush your nails then let it sit for five to ten minutes then brush it again. Rinse your nails thoroughly with running water while brushing to remove any toothpaste residue.
Tada! No more yellow nails :) You've now got healthy looking pinkish nails with white tips. No need to apply French tips :) Just apply clear nail polish and you're good to go.
I do hope today's tip was helpful.
Until next time dearies! :)
