Cheesy Green Bell Pepper Omelette

Good morning my darlings! I have got a super easy recipe for you to try today.  Today, we're making one of my favorite omelettes.  It's super easy and super fast with only a few ingredients.  I love the creaminess of the eggs plus the gooey cheese and "pimiento" flavor of the bell pepper.  Looking at the pictures makes me hungry.  Let's begin shall we?
We will need the following:
1.  Green bell pepper, cored, seeded, sliced then diced
2.  Eggs
3.  Cheese
*Ooops, don't forget the oil and freshly ground black pepper!
That's it!
Now that we've got everything we need, let's go ahead and crack those eggs.  Beat the eggs with a fork or whisk until blended.  Season with ground black pepper.  Set this aside.
Next, in a pan under low heat, saute the green bell pepper in oil.  Move the bell pepper around to cook it evenly.
Now add in your cheese.  You will want to turn off the heat first if you are using quick melt cheese or just to be safe, add the eggs first then sprinkle with cheese.
Add the eggs in and wait for it to completely set then flip and cook the other side.
Best served with hot pandesal and coffee.  This is one of the reasons love mornings! Yummy!
Have a great weekend!

  2. Nice recipe! When I put cheese in my omelette, I like lowering the heat to give the cheese time to melt before the egg sets. It doesn't take too long :)
